Vail Health is looking for an organized and motivated Inventory Specialist to help ensure that our clinical teams have the right supplies at the right time. Schedule Options - Vail Location
- 5 x 8 schedule: Monday - Friday, 3:30 a.m. - 11:30 a.m.
- 4 x 10 schedule: Tuesday - Friday, 2:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.
Shift Differentials
This is a night shift position and is eligible for additional shift differentials:
- +$6.00/hour for weekday night shifts
- +$8.00/hour for weekend night shifts
What You?ll Do
As an Inventory Specialist, you?ll be a key part of our Supply Chain team. Your day-to-day work helps clinical teams focus on patient care by making sure supplies and equipment are accurate, available, and ready when needed.
- Maintain accurate inventory levels through restocking, cycle counting, and inventory control for assigned areas.
- Review supply needs, prevent overstocking, and help ensure efficient product turnover.
- Conduct physical counts and investigate inventory discrepancies-updating systems as needed.
- Process supply deliveries by verifying quantities, expiration dates, and physical condition.
- Respond to supply and equipment requests-both routine and urgent-with prompt, professional service.
- Inspect equipment and supplies for expiration, recalls, or defects, and report any issues.
- Help manage bi-annual physical inventories and assist with reporting for supply tracking.
- Keep all supply areas clean, organized, and well-maintained throughout daily operations.
- Propose new ideas and assist with department initiatives aimed at continuous improvement.
- Maintain confidentiality and HIPAA compliance in all work.
Who You Are
You are detail-oriented, dependable, and bring a proactive mindset to solving problems. You value teamwork and take pride in supporting patient care-even when you?re not directly at the bedside.
What You Bring
- Preferred: 1 year of experience in healthcare, supply chain, or materials management.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced and hands-on environment.
- Must be able to learn and use computers and digital systems within 90 days of hire.

Pay is based upon relevant education and experience per hour.
Hourly Pay:
$20.67—$24.25 USD
