Health Science Specialist
The Geriatric Research, Education, and Clinical Center (GRECC), located at the VA Palo Alto Health Care System (VAPAHCS), is one of 20 GRECC's across the VA system. Through Congressional legislation, GRECCs were established with the mandate of Improving the care of older veterans through integrated research, education, and clinical activities. Inherent in the mission of a GRECC is the development of innovative clinical programs to improve patient care. BASIC REQUIREMENT (TRANSCRIPT REQUIRED): I possess a bachelor's or graduate/higher level degree with a major study in an academic field related to the medical field, health sciences or allied sciences appropriate to the work of the position.
