Orlando Health Cancer Institute in Orlando, Florida, is looking for a qualified Medical Neuro-Oncologist to join our team. As a top cancer care provider in Florida, Orlando Health Cancer Institute provides integrated multidisciplinary and subspecialized care environments in a thriving physician-led, professionally managed care system.
The ideal candidate would have completed a Neurology Residency Program and a Medical Oncology Fellowship, be Board certified or eligible by the ABPN and UCNS.
The candidate will work closely with our neuro oncology, neuro surgery, and neuro radiation oncology team to develop and deliver advanced treatment options through clinical research while providing comprehensive, coordinated, and outstanding clinical care for patients suffering from primary and secondary central nervous system neoplasms as well as the neurologic complications of cancer.
The Neuro-oncology team is supported by two experienced APPs, two oncology clinic RNs, two Medical Assistants, and a Neuro-Oncology Nurse Navigator.
A multi-disciplinary approach includes a weekly brain tumor board and close collaboration with surgical neuro-oncology and radiation neuro-oncology, as well as neuropathology and neuroradiology.
Teaching opportunities include clinics with Hematology Oncology fellows and Neurology Residents.
