Position Summary:
We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a QA Improvement (HRP Education and Training) Specialist
Responsible for providing administrative, training and resource support for the Human Research Protections (HRP) education and training program, including but not limited to presentation support, resource development and edits, communications and website updates for all HRP units. Reports to Manager, Education and Training (EM), HRP; provides support as needed to Senior Director and works with Senior Project Coordinator (SPC), HRP.
Job Responsibilities:
Tracks update requirements for all HRP central documents
Facilitates change requests for all HRP central documents
Reviews, works with subject matter experts to edit, and obtains appropriate approvals of any new and revised templates, forms and guidance documents
Formats all templates, forms and guidance ensure proper branding and consistency
Organizes and maintains HRP document library and document management within HRP
Training
Tracks and coordinates all HRP training request training request for any HRP presentations delivered to the research community
Maintains presentation catalogue with presentation materials, date of presentation, department/faculty/staff presented to and presenters information including and scripts.
Prepares and delivers “how to” presentations for researcher community
Maintains regularly scheduled session content to ensure updated resources and upcoming events are promoted during sessions
Co-host live regularly scheduled sessions to assist with technical issues, incoming questions, follow-up communications, polling and other interactive activities
Assists with formatting PowerPoint presentations for all public facing materials
Maintains data regarding registrants, attendees for all training sessions
Distributes and maintains results for customer service surveys, post training survey
Tracks and maintains records regarding board member continuing education requirements on monthly basis
Assist with all preparation for AAHRP accreditation and annual reporting
Scheduling, pre-recording prep preparation, post meeting debriefing for podcast
Assists in developing materials for OnDemand video production
Meets with and HRP expert scheduling and follow-up to ensure incoming questions and responses are summarized
Serves as resource for staff CIP training
Tracks CIP certification statuses and CE granting activities for SD and EM
Supports with require training inquiries
Coordinates logistics for staff conference and external training attendance
Communications
Alongside the SPC and EM, the specialist will manage the following:
Manages Event Calendars
Trumba “This Week Calendar” and HRP webpage calendar
HRP Webpage Events
Supports EM and Senior Project Coordinator in coordination of announcement topics, content and release dates
Manages of incoming education related emails to IRB-Education email
HRP Spaces – Add users from Fundamentals attendees
Updates to HRP Listserve on regular basis
Drafts communications related to document changes or events
Tracks and schedules Meet with HRP expert sessions
Special Projects
Participates in special programs or projects and performs other duties as required.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in a health-related field. Solid command of human subject regulations and policies. Must exercise a high degree of independent judgment and discretion relating to research issues. Superior organizational, analytical, time management, multi-tasking and interpersonal communication skills required. High degree of emotional intelligence. Excellent verbal and technical writing skills, proficient use of computer and relevant software and database applications (IRB Software, MS Word, PowerPoint, etc.) 3+ years experience in clinical research and/or IRB regulatory work.
Preferred Qualifications:
Advanced Degree in health-related field. Certified in Good Clinical Practice, Certified IRB Professional (CIP) or Certified IRB Manager (CIM) certification. 5+ years of experience in clinical research and/or IRB regulatory work.
Qualified candidates must be able to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization.

NYU Langone Health provides a salary range to comply with the New York state Law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. The salary range for the role is $76,721.83 - $86,840.00 Annually. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, specialty, education, and hospital need. The salary range or contractual rate listed does not include bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation or benefits.
