The Clinical Research Supervisor ensures the quality and continuity of research efforts, approval processes, required deliverables and business initiatives across the research team. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:Assigns, schedules, and reviews the work of Clinical Research staff to maintain project progress, patient flow, achieve production goals, and conform to established protocols and procedures.Supervises the flow of research trials and patient involvement through the department, coordinating effective staffing and scheduling practices to the needs of the department.Leads the handling and resolution of complex issues and complaints, in coordination with the Director.Monitors operating statistics and patterns to identify trends and changes across sites as well as the external environment.Develops and implements department policies and procedures to standardize quality patient care and research development.Implements new programs and equipment activations.Leads hiring, terminations, recruitment, training and development of research staff, in consultation with medical director and department administrators.Reviews performance of all immediate reports and assesses the learning or correction needs and arranges for training or other actions.Participates in the preparation and management of research operation expense, capital expense, and staffing budgets.Coordinates the regulatory compliance activities and maintains continuous departmental readiness for inspections and surveys.Role models the principals of a Just Culture and Organizational Values.Perform other duties as assigned.
