Regional Pediatric Hospitalist Opportunity - Akron Children's Hospital

 Akron Children's Hospital is expanding our Pediatric Hospitalist program to provide regional coverage in northeast Ohio. We are seeking BE/BC Pediatricians and/or Pediatric Hospitalists to join our growing team. We offer flexible scheduling with 12 and/or 24-hour shifts available for both full-time and part-time opportunities. These positions will be responsible for high quality coverage at our two locations located in the Mahoning Valley. Coverage will include the Akron Children's Hospital Beeghly inpatient hospital unit located in Boardman, Ohio which is a free-standing children's hospital with a pediatric emergency department, subspecialty support, and 25-bed pediatric unit. The second location is St. Joseph Hospital has located in Warren, Ohio which has a 7-bed pediatric unit with nursery coverage, delivery room coverage, and occasional ER consult responsibilities. Physicians will be scheduled shifts at both campuses. NRP and PALS certification are required but will be provided for those not currently certified.
This position is a 501(c)(3) site which qualifies for Public Service Loan Forgiveness through the Federal government.
