Phlebotomist
Job Summary: Phlebotomy function is based on operational hours of all APS practices. May be required to travel to offsite locations and perform specimen collections. Responsibilities: *Draw blood tests from patients as per physician orders*Enter physician orders into laboratory system to produce requisite labels for specimens*Order supplies for required testing*Ensure that bloods/samples are sent to the laboratory as per schedule to insure samples are viable.*Communicate with medical providers to clarify orders when needed.Qualifications/Requirements: Experience: One-year phlebotomy experience preferred. Education: High school graduate or equivalent.
