The role you’ll contribute: Work patient accounts with credits, processing refunds to insurance companies and patients.

The value you’ll bring to the team

• Works patient refunds.
• Works Insurance refunds in Series.
• Performs analysis on bankruptcy notices, attorney request and prints what is necessary for resolution of requests
• Consistently uses online resources for claim follow up and to find out payer policy changes.
• Calls nursing home or physician’s office if payment is delayed, ascertaining what is necessary to get claim paid and following up to make sure they have necessary information to pay claim.
• Ensures timely filing of secondary claims either electronically or hard copy and follows up on payments.
• Re-bills all outreach accounts on

The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed:

• Data entry/basic computer literacy required.
• Able to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing required.
• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous hospital billing experience preferred
