Alliance Cancer Specialists, the largest community oncology practice in Southeastern PA, is seeking a full-time Clinical Manager in our outpatient oncology center at our Wynnewood office. This Monday-Friday position requires strong assessment skills and excellent communication skills. Oncology or infusion experience is required. Ideal candidate is compassionate, competent and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining patient focus and accuracy.

Responsibilities: Under the supervision of Director of Clinical Services, the Clinical Manager will be responsible for supervision of all the clinical staff at your site, supervision of the ancillary medical service providers, the maintenance of quality patient care in compliance with local, state and federal regulations and accreditation standards. In the absence of the Director of Clinical Services, the Clinical Manager is responsible for directing and supervising all nursing and ancillary medical services. This includes interpreting policies and procedures, standards and regulations, and adjusting staff for adequate coverage.
Oversees the clinical operations for all nursing clinical support activities.
Functions as a resource for all clinical staff members.
Promotes a team approach by encouraging clinical and non-clinical teams working cohesively.
Collaborate with all departments to achieve organization objectives.
Maintains effective nursing staff coverage for the practice within budgetary constraints.
Hires and coordinates training for all nursing personnel.
Coordinates the completion of performance evaluations for all clinical staff and support.
Demonstrates working knowledge of applicable labor laws, schedules and coordinates employee vacations, sick leave and overtime.
Monitors and evaluates patient satisfaction.
Facilitates QA process in nursing.
Provides staff training/inservices as required.
Controls nursing departmental operating costs within budget parameters.
Ensures all licensing and certification criteria are met.
Provides support and direction as required in the area of clinical research in the practice and ensure nursing staff compliance to the established research protocols.
Performs tasks assigned to staff nurses as necessary.
Coordinates and implements internal developmental programs for clinical staff to enhance staff retention.
Must complete and fully understand training to comply with USP 800 and possible exposure to Hazardous Drugs.
Flexible, able to prioritize and resolve issues
Graduate of an accredited school of nursing, BSN or MSN preferred RN state license and current registration with the State Board of Nursing in practicing state.
Current CPR certification required
Minimum five years actively practicing as a registered nurse, including at least three years oncology experience.
Minimum three years of leadership experience
Oncology certification preferred
