SUBFUNCTION DEFINITION: Develops policies, procedures and methods to evaluate and improve the quality of products, materials, components and/or operations. Develops, assures and maintains the quality of products and processes, including standard procedures and quality audits/review.

SCOPE: Support teams independently
???Automation Assist in the development of department-wide systems for automating the production of performance metrics, maintaining data management systems, developing visualizations and displays for performance metrics, developing and implementing processes for validating metric values.
???Data Resource Support quality Improvement Activities in CCHMC Strategic Initiatives. Serve as a data and/or analytic resource for one or more initiative-based teams. Work with teams to understand, document and respond to data requirements to meet reporting and analytic needs.
???Performance Metrics Assist designated Lead to manage their portfolios of performance metrics. Managing performance metrics means updating values on a regular basis, automating the updates if possible. It also means responding to questions about the metrics from customers, which may include initial investigation into reasons for special cause. The analyst may also assume primary responsibility for their own portfolio of metrics.
???Analytics Meet designated internal and/or external customers' basic and moderate analytic needs. This could include helping customers create and populate a dashboard using reporting technologies within the group.
???Bachelor's degree in a related field ??? 2 - 5 years of work experience in a related job discipline
