SUMMARY OF POSITION: Responsible to assist patients and pharmacists in non-clinical tasks such as telephone triage, retrieval and data entering of INR results, providing updated orders for lab tests and prescriptions for Warfarin, and general office assistance.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: High School Diploma required. 6 months job related experience required.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES: Excellent communication skills and time management skills required. Ability to work independently and proactively required. Working knowledge of MS Office and the ability to use job specific software including Cerner, Eclipsys and Mysis required. Data entry and data analysis skills required.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Experience in a healthcare setting preferred.
