The Department of Pediatrics Patient Care at MD Anderson Cancer Center invites applicants for a term tenure track, full-time academic appointment at the level of Associate Professor. This is a faculty position that is responsible to the Chairman of the Department of Pediatrics. Provides leadership, clinical expertise in patient care management and an appropriate teaching environment for fellows, residents and students in the specialty of pediatric oncology. Participates in the design and implementation of protocol clinical trials. He/she is responsible for providing expertise in the design, conduct, and analysis of clinical research projects. Applicants should have a robust background in clinical research and should have extramural funding for their research efforts. Applicants should hold or be eligible for medical licensure in Texas and must possess an MD with Board Eligibility or Board Certification in the subspecialty of medical oncology.
