Our long-term care pharmacy provides packaged medications to assisted living and long-term care facilities. Our packaging options allow medications to be delivered more efficiently, eliminating errors and reducing waste, while ensuring safety and positive medication outcomes. Because we are local and offer flexibility and a high level of customer service, our client list continues to grow at a rapid pace.
This position is approved for 80 hours every two weeks and is benefit eligible position. This position qualifies for a $5000 sign on bonus.
Assist in preparing and dispensing medications and supplies in both vials and unit dose packaging
Providing superior customer service to both skilled nursing and assisted living facilities
Unpacking/verifying stock-to-invoices and maintaining the pharmacy in proper order
additional duties as determined by supervisor
Required: Current or pending registration by the Minnesota Board of Pharmacy, and if first registered on/after 1/1/2013, completion of a MNBOP approved employer based or vocational/technical training program.
Preferred: Pharmacy technician experience and knowledgeable of data entry and insurance adjudications.
Desired Skills: Excellent customer service skills, proficient in the English language, good attention to detail, ability to problem solve effectively, ability to follow policies and procedures, basic math skills, basic typing skills and excellent communication skills.
