PRMO:, established in 2001, Patient Revenue Management Organization (PRMO) is a fully integrated, centralized revenue cycle organization supporting all of Duke Health, including Duke University Hospital, Duke Regional Hospital, Duke Raleigh Hospital, the Private Diagnostic Clinic, and Duke PrimaryCare. The PRMO focuses on streamlining the revenue cycle through enhanced management of scheduling, registration, coding, HIM operations, billing, collections, cash management, and customer service. Core Job Responsible(s):
Communicate, translate, and document business requirements to identified DHTS development team(s) (Maestro Care, etc.).
Support development of system test scripts supporting operational workflows/frameworks to ensure that user intent and expected test results are effectively captured, validated, and signed off by relevant operational stakeholders.
Develop business cases/stories for prioritization.
Support operational units in developing business performance reports.
Translate technical information into operational, non-technical language.
Coordinate and help deliver demos of system changes under development, ensuring operational satisfaction and sign-off
Provide detailed project status reports.
Create edits/test for Claim Manager (Optumn), Clinical Research, HIM, or other based on business needs.
Manage/Monitor Charging Interface.
Understanding of business and IT processes.
Ability to understand document data flow, systems, and interdepartmental processes.

Outstanding verbal and written communication skills to effectively collaborate.
Excellent problem solving and analytical skills.
Must be able to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
Education: Bachelor's Degree or 4 years' experience equivalent to a degree.
EPIC proficiency or certification in identified application(s) must successfully be obtained within 6-9 months of the start date; related Epic Continuing Education (CE) must be completed within published timelines to retain proficiency and/or certification.
