This position is responsible for consulting, facilitating, and supporting organizational culture and service efforts (Elevate) and facilitate leadership development activities. This position supports Leadership Assemblies, Elevate Awards and orientations for new staff and new leaders to VUMC culture. In addition, this consultant partners with executives to support elevate leadership programs and award celebrations while maintaining the ability to manage time and competing priorities with excellent oral presentation skills, interpersonal communication, and writing skills. This role is also responsible for creating relevant leadership development content and delivery with a strong "stage presence" and facilitating learning activities and exercises.
Quarterly Leadership Assemblies & Breakout Sessions: Support, coordination, and implementation of events to create a successful leadership assembly.
Elevate Awards: Supports logistics, nomination and selection process for quarterly Credo, Five Pillar Leader & Elevate Team Awards.
New Leader Orientation: Supports and communicates with facilitators, schedule dates, ongoing content updates, and improvements.
Medical Center Orientation: Supports new staff and new leaders to VUMC culture.
Facilitate Leadership Development Courses: Supports and consults with customers to determine appropriate business needs for facilitating and supporting organizational culture and service efforts (Elevate) and leadership development.

ADEPT IN TECHNOLOGY (INTERMEDIATE): Knowledge of skills necessary to perform data entry, manage team calendars, create reports, and assumes the producer's role is to assist the host in managing the administrative aspects of a virtual meeting utilizing tools like Zoom, Teams, Webex, and Go to Meetings. Must be familiar with Microsoft Office software like Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and more.
CONSULTING (INTERMEDIATE): The capability to influence, facilitate and support organizational culture and service efforts (Elevate) and facilitate leadership development activities.
TRAINING NEEDS ANALYSIS (INTERMEDIATE): A process of collecting information about a proposed learning program. A needs analysis addresses the following issues: restating the request, stating the business need, identifying the performance gap, conducting a task analysis, describing the learners, describing the learning environment, and identifying the project constraints.
ADULT LEARNING THEORY (INTERMEDIATE): Knowledge of the principles and practices of providing instruction to the adult learner. Able to focus on adult learning goals and the ability to direct their learning.
INSTRUCTIONAL DESIGN (INTERMEDIATE): The systematic development of specifications using learning and instructional theory to ensure the quality of instruction.
Business acumen: Understanding how the organization operates and achieves its goals and objectives.
Organizational Impact: Executes job responsibilities to understand how output would affect and impact other areas related to own job area/team/organization with occasional guidance.
Problem Solving/Complexity of work: Analyzes moderately complex problems using interpersonal skills, experience, and judgment.
The breadth of Knowledge: Has expanded knowledge gained through experience within the organization.
Team Interaction: Provides informal guidance and support to team members and Leadership Team.
Communication: Transferring information from one place, person, or group to another in a fashion that successfully gets the message across.

QUALIFICATIONS - EXTERNAL
Bachelor's Degree (or equivalent experience) and three years relevant experience
