The Shift Coordinator is accountable for the coordination of all activities on a shift by shift basis in the O/R Department and reports to the OR/CSP Supervisor. The Shift Coordinator oversees the shift activities, monitors overall SIPT quality of work and prioritizes assignments to assure timely, productive, and efficient use of resources. Ensures supplies and instruments/case carts are prepared for daily scheduled procedures.
