The Enterprise EMR Team is currently recruiting for an Associate Systems Analyst for the Core & Incident Services group to deliver optimal health and an exceptional experience to each and every person we serve, every time. The ideal candidate will have a passion for problem solving in a fast paced environment and support other caregivers on the larger team.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
Interact daily with front-line caregivers to clearly define a problem, convey workarounds, and resolve issues in a timely manner.
Identify trends among recorded issues and convey to leadership.
Maintain areas of core Cerner Millennium build for larger enterprise EMR team (security, locations, event set hierarchy).
Commitment to industry standard change control and communications process in a dynamic team environment.
Ability to provide documentation on build items for the larger team and steps to recreate or produce a test case.
Perform testing and troubleshooting for on-going investigations and for system changes and upgrades.
Serve as communication channel between front-line caregivers, vendor and leadership as it relates to incident management.
Education and Experience Requirements:
Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Nursing, Information Systems, Computer Science or other healthcare related fields.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite with a focus on Excel, Word and Outlook.
Excellent customer service skills and ability to work constructively with customers under adverse situations.
Critical thinking ability as it pertains to problem solving and analysis, working through issues with members of other diverse teams.
Ability to prioritize work with minimal guidance and manage own time/calendar.
Committed, enthusiastic team player, with a focus on high quality, safe care and customer satisfaction.
Experience supporting other EMR applications is a plus.
