Work Hours/Shift: You Will Be Responsible For: Responsible for the overall direction, coordination, implementation, execution, control and completion of specific programs & projects ensuring consistency with company strategy, commitments and goals. Serves as a liaison between business users and implementation team, defines project tasks and resource requirements, monitors and reports on progress of the program or project, assesses results, and manages customer support. Actively participates in outstanding customer service and accepts responsibility in maintaining relationships that are equally respectful to all. In addition to running projects, the Program Manager will assist in facilitating the process for analyzing value; evaluating risk; prioritizing; and onboarding new requests to ensure alignment with the program and project strategy. They will be responsible for activities including program / project reporting and metrics to create predictable project and initiative delivery. This role will facilitate projects for the onboarding and recruiting endeavors at AdventHealth and Moffitt Cancer Center (MCC). This role will be responsible to advertise and recruit Cancer Metabolism investigators, develop position descriptions, advertise, and recruit investigators in Population Science with an emphasis on priority areas including cancer prevention and care delivery and implementation science. This role will use the best athlete approach to recruit and enhance existing programs. This role will create competitive offer packages and employment agreements to facilitate the recruit of top talent. This role will assess the adequacy of key management and support staff, and administrative leadership positions to meet the key administrative and scientific needs of the consortium. This role will manage a large program that will integrate AdventHealth into MCC's State-level cancer control initiatives. This role will be involved in many other projects and will collaborate on other initiatives and departments within the Research Institute. Qualifications
What You Will Need: EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: - Bachelor’s Degree preferably in Business, or Healthcare or 5 years like experience
- A minimum of 5 years’ experience in the following:
- Managing projects, preferably in a health care or human resources, utilizing standard project management concepts
LICENSURE, CERTIFICATION OR REGISTRATION REQUIRED: - PMP Certified
- Agile or Scrum Master Certified
LICENSURE, CERTIFICATION OR REGISTRATION PREFFERRED: - Certification in process improvement, e.g. Six Sigma
- Certification in change management, e.g. Prosci
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS REQUIRED: - Demonstrates the understanding of strategic business goals, act as a thought partner, helping stakeholders articulate needs and defining clear scope statements that include SMART goals, and ensuring the team focuses on achieving the business outcomes
- Expert in developing work breakdown structures, determining interdependencies, identifying a projects critical path, estimating of level of effort using PERT analysis and then using techniques and skills to proactively manage the project to successfully deliver the goals and objectives of the project
- Proficient at driving a project forward, monitoring and communicating the progress, proactively and effectively communicating in terms of cost, forecast, schedule and assessment of risk/issues. Job Summary: - Act as Project Manager and lead cross functional project teams by task assignment and follows up to ensure on-time completion
- Lead effective project kickoff, identification of all project stakeholders, while defining and clarifying project roles and responsibilities
- Creates the Charter, gathers requirements, creates the stakeholder register, and communication plan
- Work with all stakeholders to identify and confirm necessary resources
- Develop and maintain project plans using Smartsheet, within the AHRI Command Center
- Create excel project plans and utilize other project management tools as needed
- Create power point presentations, flow charts and Visio diagrams as needed
- Prepare meetings agendas. Takes notes at meetings, converts notes into tasks, updates trackers and create team program/project elements
- Follow-up on action items through to completion. Provide nudge/reminders to portfolio, and program workstream leads and team members
- Ability to lead multiple project assignments, project tracking, issue resolution, time gathering and reporting, and communicate project progress
- Conduct regular project reviews and communicate the status of projects in both a formal and informal setting
- Communicate the projects status throughout the project lifecycle to all team members
- Manages change to the scope, schedule, and budget
- Manage a Program to communicate regularly with executive sponsors toward goal achievement, critical factors and addressing obstacles
- Program Schedule Management - Working with the Subject Matter Experts develops the Work Breakdown Structure. Develops a simplified Program schedule for resource management and capacity tracking. Facilitates information entry and updating for the AHRI Command Center
- Identify and resolve issues that may negatively impact a project or project deliverables
- Performs risk management to ensure programs are successful
- Seeks innovative ways to remove project obstacles
- Provide continuous improvement by re-engineering of processes to ensure quality and efficiency
- Works with Change Management and Process Architects as needed
- Conducts project post-mortems and create lessons learned to identify successful and unsuccessful project elements and potential action items for future improvements
- Responsible for reviewing lessons learned for like projects and adopting the changes to improve delivery in future projects. Often uses this knowledge to recommend changes to upper management and then takes a leadership role in developing the updated standards.
