Job Summary: VUMC TempForce has opportunities for a Data Entry Specialist. As a Data Entry Specialist, you will assist in coordination of Continuing Medical Education (CME) administrative activities including but not limited to: Ecommerce; Invoicing CME Credit; tracking payment receipts. Completing steps in activity closeout procedures once a course or session has ended. Handle all activity requirements for those that request/have requested American Psychological Association (APA) credits. Completion of weekly and monthly activity reports. Triage customer service request in the Maintenance of Certification (MOC) email box. Work to organize current database; to prune any unnecessary data or information duplications, update any new information required to make database records accurate. This includes transcription of data to and from the database utilizing excel. Provide support in end of year CME reporting procedures. Department/Unit Summary: Vanderbilt University Medical Center TempForce was created to connect temporary talent to all areas of VUMC. TempForce places diverse and skilled personnel to departments across the Medical Center. This position is within the OCPD Office of Continuous Professional Development department. The department is a small unit of 7 staff that work on various segments of education activity credit approvals. They meet weekly to discuss current projects, offer guidance and determine if additional resources are needed for completion of weekly work. With the constraints of our COVID environment they find ways to remain connected as a team and continue to work together to address their education partner needs. OCPD have an environment of transparency and all team members are empowered and encouraged to voice their opinions and ideas for new processes and projects. Position Shift:
