Responsible for providing management to the Human Resources staff. Plans, directs, controls, monitors all aspects of the Human Resources department to include leadership oversight for all facility employees on matters relating to compensation, benefits, payroll, employee and labor relations, and personnel administration. Is accountable for The Hospitals of Providence employee and labor relationsâ�� activity. Ensures understanding and interpretation of policies, procedures, and programs to enhance management/staff relations. Listens to employee concerns and informs management of issues or concerns. Tracks and trends employee concerns and develops programs to address them. Meets with managers and employees, investigating issues and recommending solutions. Communicates regularly with other members of the HR Department, which may impact, or be impacted by, various employee issues. Develops performance management training programs designed to address various issues and delivers to management and/or staff as appropriate. Accountable for The Hospitals of Providence labor relationsâ�� activity for all Collective Bargaining Agreements. Works with all levels of management to ensure the consistent application of Collective Bargaining Agreements. Works closely with the corporate Director of Labor Relations. All other duties as assigned.
Bachelorâ��s degree in Human Resources or Business OR a combination of education and experience to equal 9 years
Human Resources certification preferred
