This individual will be responsible for the full scope of clinical, research, educational and community health activities of the Department and co-leadership of the MassGeneral Hospital for Children. They will also participate in collaborative activities with other departments within the hospital and within the Mass General Brigham system, Harvard Medical School, and other affiliated institutions. Candidates will possess outstanding leadership, managerial and collaborative skills, with a national/international reputation in Pediatrics. Candidates should have a clear vision for achieving excellence in clinical care, research, and teaching, in order to lead a complex and successful department and children’s hospital to even higher levels of excellence. The Department of Pediatrics includes a comprehensive portfolio of clinical specialties and services in both inpatient and outpatient settings with 305 appointed clinical faculty, 66 residents, and 50 clinical fellows.
