This position will support a Culture of Compliance within the organization through:
Client Outreach and Engagement
Proactively building relationships with client compliance contacts, in conjunction with Coniferâ��s Client Delivery partners, to ensure collaboration when faced with compliance concerns
Monitoring client-specific trends and collaborating with client compliance contacts to reduce compliance risks specific to the client
Responding to, investigating, and resolving potential compliance matters referred through Coniferâ��s centralized compliance matter management process.
Communicating with clients and collaborating with internal business partners including, but not limited to: Human Resources, Legal, Information Security, Client Delivery, and Operations, as needed, throughout the investigation process.
Identifying potential trends in the compliance matter management process at client sites and working operational partners to mitigate future compliance issues of similar types.
Continuously working to improve efficiency within the compliance matter management process. Identifying monitoring and auditing opportunities to reduce recurring compliance matters.
Training and Education
Developing training tools that can be used to mitigate potential compliance matters.
Helping to implement Ethics and Compliance program training and awareness initiatives throughout the organization.
Educating operational teams at assigned client site(s) so as to address emerging risks
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Responding to, investigating, and resolving potential compliance matters referred through Coniferâ��s centralized compliance matter management process
Partnering with clients and internal stakeholders both proactively and throughout the compliance investigation process and as part of a client liaison relationship
Supporting a Culture of Compliance through contributions to various process improvement initiatives focused on reducing compliance risk within the organization.
Helping to implement Ethics and Compliance program training and awareness initiatives throughout the organization
Developing training tools that can be used to mitigate potential compliance issues

EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE
Include minimum education, technical training, and/or experience required to perform the job.
Bachelorâ��s degree in relevant discipline required.
Juris Doctor, Masters, or other graduate degree preferred
Certification in Healthcare Compliance (CHC) preferred
Requires excellent research skills and exceptional communication and drafting skills
Minimum requirement: 5 years in a health care field with specific emphasis on regulatory issues and/or policy development
Must have intermediate to expert proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
