The Research Analyst II position provides research support for medical and academic scholars, such as collects, analyzes and/or abstracts data. May also create reports, graphics, maps, and/or plans and leads presentations. May conduct initial and on-going assessments, develops and/or maintains database. This position also requires strong project management skills and the ability to work independently &/or as part of a team. This position requires the ability to read and understand medical, scientific, statistical and/or business or management terminology and to make causal and conceptual links to related topics. 

Conducts on-demand searches of medical, business and academic databases for scholarly articles and information.  Acquires and distributes information as needed in a variety of print and electronic formats to support specific health care research and/or quality improvement projects. Creates innovative approaches to research and information gathering as required by specific projects.  Completes standardized forms, applications and/or documents using various system application software and web-based software.  Provides writing and editorial support, and produces final text for NIH/AHRQ caliber grant submissions.\

QUALIFICATIONS

- EDUCATION - Bachelor's Degree

- EXPERIENCE - A minimum of 3 years experience required
