Job Title: Physician Assistant Primary Care (PB) Cost Center: 521550 Ladysmith-Primary Care Scheduled Weekly Hours: 40 Employee Type: Regular Work Shift: Job Description: The Physician Assistant is a skilled member of the allied health care team who is qualified both academically and clinically to provide diagnostic and therapeutic services to patients under the supervision of a licensed physician. The Physician Assistant works within a cooperative unit, utilizing team effort with health care providers, co-workers, and the public to provide positive patient interaction. Required Education: Graduate of a nationally accredited Physician Assistant Program Experience Preferred/Optional Experience: One year in specialty Certifications/Licenses The following licensure(s), certification(s), registration(s), etc., are required for this position, which must be maintained in good standing: Minimum Required: Certification from the National Commission on Certifications of Physician Assistants. Must be eligible to obtain or already hold a current State of Wisconsin Physician Assistant licensure.
