Greets all customers, clients, outpatients, and visitors physically or on the telephone. Enters orders, charges, credits, and cancellations using HIS or LIS. Processes and maintains laboratory records and reports. Receives and processes specimens; distributing them to appropriate departments. Audits/reconciles journals and invoices. Performs phlebotomy procedures, including skin tests, at Mother Frances Hospital and HealthSouth. Maintains supply inventory. Maintains printers, copier, and fax machine.

6 week Clinical Phlebotomy training program
1 year (can be substituted for the 6-week certified clinical training program)
