The Executive Director of the Memorial Cancer Institute (MCI) / Todd Cancer Institute (TCI) is responsible for strategic planning, marketing, business development, implementation and evaluation of all Cancer related programs, cancer clinical research, education and patient care programs, including administrative and fiscal oversight of these programs. The Executive Director is also responsible for the integration of the Pediatric and Adult Cancer Carelines with the strategic plan for the MCI, MCH, LBMMC and MHS. The Executive Director serves as a liaison between LBMMC and other MHS facilities to implement MemorialCare programs. The Executive Director is the principle ambassador for cancer care at LBMMC and articulates the MCI vision to professionals, local businesses and the community including health care providers, prospective patients, third party payors, business interests, government agencies, and public officials. The Executive Director directs the community outreach activities of all cancer programs which includes educational and fundraising events which are largely coordinated by volunteers. The Executive Director coordinates the activities of the MCI/TCI Advisor Board. Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

Education:
Master's degree in Health Care, Nursing or Business Administration preferred.
Leadership experience in matrixed organization and health system is preferred.
Lean certification is preferred. |
