Job Title: Customer Service Team Coordinator Location: Danville, PA Department: Geisinger Health Plan - Claims Work Type: Full Time
JOB SUMMARY: Responsible for assisting the Customer Service Team Leader by providing direct back-up support to the Customer Service Teams in the areas of claims, membership and member services.
Excellent communication, problem solving, and customer-service skills within a team atmosphere. Demonstrates excellent organization and time management skills and ability to work independently. Demonstrates ability to work with and manage multiple data sets. Demonstrates good verbal and written skills and ability to work with all levels of Health Plan personnel.
Performs duties to meet or exceed the Customer Service Team performance standards that are designed to provide quality customer service and member satisfaction and meet applicable regulatory requirements.
Works closely with Team Leaders to investigate and resolve Customer Service operational issues. Works on special projects under the direction of the Team Leaders.
Travel/special assignments at other locations as needed.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE: Minimum two to three years experience as a Customer Service Representative II or equivalent health plan customer service experience in claims functionality and membership or member/provider services required.
WORKING CONDITIONS/PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Work is typically performed in an office environment.
